agriculturer
Someone who is involved with the science and art of cultivating the soil; including the allied pursuits of gathering in the crops and rearing live stock; tillage, husbandry, and farming.
agriculturism
The business of cultivating the soil; including the allied pursuits of gathering in the crops and rearing live stock; tillage, husbandry, farming.
agriculturist, agriculturalist
1. A student of the science of agriculture, (but soon extended to) a professed cultivator of the land, a farmer.
2. Someone who studies or is involved with agriculture.
agriecology
1. The study of the relationship between the environment and agricultural crops.
2. Ecology as applied to agriculture.
agrigenetics
Biotechnical research in plant breeding; the attempt to control plant evolution by genetic manipulation and gene splicing to provide desirable new varieties; such as, a (still experimental) strain of wheat with the soybean's capability of fertilizing its roots with airborne nitrogen.

Agrigeneticists have produced such new agricultural items as a redder, less watery commercial tomato and disease-resistant sugar cane.

1. Any of various perennial herbaceous plants of the genus Agrimonia, having pinnately compound leaves and spikelike clusters of small yellow flowers.
2. Any of several similar or related plants, such as the hemp agrimony.

agriologist
Someone who is versed in the history and customs of primitive or uncivilized peoples.
agriology, agriological
1. The comparative study of the history and customs of primitive, savage, or uncivilized people.
2. Description or comparative study of the customs of savage or uncivilized tribes.
agriomania
An “obsolete term” for a wild, ferocious mania.
agriothymia
An obsolete term for a wild, ferocious mania.
agriproduct
Products resulting from agricultural efforts.
agritechnology, agritech
Current technology, marketing, products grown, livestock breeding and care, horticulture, landscape operations, and turf management.
agrium
A wildlife community on cultivated land or on other land subject to significant human activity.
