hemoglobinuria, hemoglobinuric
1. Hemoglobin in the urine.
2. The presence of free hemoglobin in the urine.
macroglobulinemia
A rare, indolent (slow-growing) non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancer that begins in the cells of the immune system).

It starts in plasma cells, which develop from white blood cells called B lymphocytes or "B cells".

mucoglobulin
A glycoprotein (molecule that consists of a carbohydrate, sugars and starches, plus a protein), or mucoprotein (complex protein found in mucous secretions), in which the protein component is a globulin.
myxoglobulosis
A cystic condition of the appendix marked by the presence in the cysts of globoid bodies of mucinous character.
ovoglobulin
A globulin present in egg white.
oxyhemoglobin
A familiar protein is the one in red blood corpuscles that combines with oxygen in the lungs and carries it to the cells of the tissues, where it gives it up again. When it combines with oxygen, it becomes oxyhemoglobin.
oxyhemoglobinometer
An apparatus for measurement of the amount of oxygen in the blood.
pseudoglobulin
A simple protein insoluble in half-saturated ammonium sulfate or sodium sulfate solutions but soluble in pure water.
subglobular
Nearly globular.
verdohemoglobin
A protein which is formed from the breakdown of hemoglobin (a protein that carries oxygen in the blood) and is a precursor to the bile pigment biliverdin (a green pigment found in bile which is formed during haem catabolism).
volcanic conglomerate
A water-deposited conglomerate containing more than 50% volcanic material; especially, coarse pyroclastics.
