allopregnancy
A pregnancy in which the male partner is allogeneic (different genotype) with respect to the female.

The mind or psyche of someone else.

Denoting, or referring to, the mental processes in their relation to the outside world or external environment.

Allosaurids
Means “other lizard” from Late Cretaceous period and most have been found in North America; however, they are said to have lived in every continent.
Allosaurus
Means “other (or different) lizard” from Late Jurassic North America, Africa, Australia, and maybe Asia. One source calls it a “strange (vertebra) lizard”. This creature was formerly known as Labrosaurus and Saurophagus. Named by Othniel Charles Marsh (1831-1899) in 1877.
allosematic
A reference to coloration or markings that imitate warning patterns of other typically noxious or dangerous organisms.
allosensitization
Exposure to an alloantigen that induces immunologic memory cells.
allosome
Any chromosome or chromosome fragment other than a normal A-chromosome.
allosteric
Referring to an alteration at one site that affects functions at another site.
allosteric effect, allosteric interaction.
A change in the behavior of one part of a molecule caused by a change in another part of the molecule.
allosynapsis, allosyndesis
The complete or partial pairing at meiosis of chromosomes derived from genotypically distinct parents; such as, in parents of different species.

It occurs only in polyploid or aneuploid organisms.
