dacryon
1. A cranial point at the juncture of the lacrimal and frontal bones, and the maxilla.
2. A craniometric point situated at the junction of the lacrimomaxillary suture and the frontal bone.
dacryops
1. A watery state of the eye.
2. Excessive lacrimation.
3. The distention of a lacrimal duct by contained fluid.
dacryopyorrhea
1. A purulent discharge from the lacrimal sac.
2. The discharge of tears mixed with pus.
dacryopyosis
1. Purulent inflammation of the lacrimal drainage system.
2. A suppuration of the lacrimal sac and duct.
dacryorrhea
1. An excessive or overabundant secretion of tears.
2. A pathologic, excessive discharge of tears.
dacryoscintigraphy
The scintigraphy (a two-dimensional picture of a bodily radiation source) of the lacrimal ducts to determine whether or how much they are blocked.
dacryosinusitis
1. The inflammation of the lacrimal duct and ethmoid sinus.
2. The inflammation of the lacrimal drainage system in association with ethmoidal sinusitis.
dacryosolenitis
An inflammation of a duct of the lacrimal gland.
dacryostenosis
1. Obstruction of the lacrimal drainage system.
2. A stricture or narrowing of a lacrimal duct.
dacryosyrinx
1. A lacrimal duct.
2. A lacrimal fistula.
3. A syringe for irrigating the lacrimal ducts.
dacrystalgia
Pain in a lacrimal sac.
hyperdacryosis
A condition of excessive tearing of the eyes.
oligodacrya
A deficiency of tears around the eyes.
rhinodacryolith
A lacrimal concretion in the nasal duct.
sialodacryoadenitis
Severe inflammation of the salivary and lacrimal glands in rats, caused by a coronavirus.

Characteristics include exophthalmos, facial swelling, and redness around the eyes. It is usually self-limiting, but severe forms can lead to blindness.
