(Greek: womb, fold; vagina; from "bosom, lap, bosomlike hollow, womb")

The letter "k" is frequently used in place of the beginning "c" for many of these words.

1. Diarrhea thought to originate from a process confined to or affecting chiefly the colon.
2. A discharge of mucus from the colon.

A surgical incision into the vagina to relieve a stricture or narrowing produced by trauma, infection, radiation, or occurring congenitally.

A device used for measuring the temperature of the vagina, said to be useful for detecting ovulation.
