bifarious, bifariously
1. A description of plant parts that are arranged in two rows, one on each side of an axis.
2. Pointing two ways, as leaves that grow only on opposite sides of a branch; in two vertical rows.

4. Growing in two ranks; such as, needle-type leaves growing in two rows on opposite sides of a twig; distichous.

Turned in seven different ways or directions.
trifarious
1. Of three sorts; facing three ways.
2. Facing three ways; arranged in three vertical ranks.
3. In groups of three, of three kinds, or in three rows.
unifarious
Arranged in a single row or series.
