apod
Footless, term applied to certain birds, fish, and reptiles, in which feet or ventral fins are either wholly absent or merely rudimentary.
apodal, apodia, apodous, apody
1. Footless; of fish, lacking the ventral fin.
2. A batrachian belonging to the order Apoda, a group of the Cecilians.
3. In medicine, congenital absence of feet.

Animals with jointed feet; a name for the more highly organized Annulosa or Articulata, comprising insects, spiders, crustacea, and myriapoda, having segmented bodies to which hollow jointed appendages (antenna, wings, legs) are articulated in pairs.

Slow-footed; a member of the family of edentate mammal quadruped represented by the sloth.

Pain in the hands and in the feet.
cheiropodist
In biology, of or belonging to the Cheiropoda; having feet like hands.
chiropodist
One who treats diseases of the hands and feet; now usually restricted to one who treats corns and bunions.
chiropodology
A treatise on corns, warts, defective nails, etc., on feet or hands.
chiropody, chiropodous
The art of treating corns, warts, defective nails, etc., on feet or hands; especially, corn cutting.
