fear
1. A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.
2. Concern or anxiety; solicitude: "He feared for his daughter's safety."
fright
1. A sudden and extreme fear; a sudden terror.
2. An emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or of some danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or to get away).
scared
1. A condition or sensation of sudden fear.
2. A general state of alarm; a panic: "There was a bomb scare that necessitated evacuating the subway, tube, or underground railway (depending on which country you are in)."
