liparodyspnea
1. A dyspnea (breathing difficulty) characteristic of overweight people.
2. The dyspnea of the obese.
lipodystrophy, lipodystrophia
1. Any disturbance of fat metabolism.
2. A group of conditions due to defective metabolism of fat, resulting in the absence of subcutaneous fat, that may be congenital or acquired and partial or total.
3. Any of various disorders of fat metabolism; intestinal lipodystrophy, a rare disease of uncertain etiology, chiefly of middle-aged men, presenting with joint pains, steatorrhea, wasting, and lymph node enlargement.
muscular dystrophy
A group of chronic muscle diseases of genetic or unknown origin that cause irreversible muscle deterioration and my result in complete incapacitation.
myelodysplasia
1. A neural tube defect consisting of defective development of part of the spinal cord.
2. An abnormality in development of the spinal cord; especially, the lower part of the cord.
myeloradiculodysplasia
Congenital maldevelopment of the spinal cord and spinal nerve roots.
myodystrophy, myodystrophia
Muscular dystrophy.
onychodystrophy
1. Dystrophic changes (disorders arising from defective or faulty nutrition) in the nails occurring as a congenital (birth) defect or due to any illness or injury that may cause a malformed nail.
2. Any distortion of a nail; a symptom seen in several diseases.
osmodysphoria
1. A deep-seated and abnormal dislike of certain odors.
2. Intolerance of certain odors.
osteochondrodysplasia
Any disorder of cartilage and bone growth.
osteodysplasty
A generalized skeletal dysplasia with prominent forehead and small mandible.

Radiographically, there are irregular ribbonlike constrictions of the ribs and tubular bones.

osteodystrophia
Defective formation of bone; common in dogs with chronic nephritis.
osteodystrophy
Defective bone development.
paradysentery
A diarrheal illness resembling mild dysentery.
photodysphoria
An intolerance to light; photophobia.
poliodystrophia
Any degenerative disease of gray matter in the central nervous system.
