(Latin: a suffix; a person who, a place where, a thing which, or pertaining to; connected with; having the character of; apparatus)
The following examples of this suffix represent a very small number of those that exist in other parts of this lexicon.
vivary
A place where living things are kept; such as, a park, on land; or in the water; such as, a pond.
vivipary
Producing live young from the body.
vocabulary
1. A collection or list of words with brief explanations of their meanings.
2. The range, or extent, of words associated with a subject or area of activity, or used by a particular person, class, profession, etc.
3. The sum, or aggregate, of words composing a language, or languages.

vocabulaire, which came from Medieval Latin
vocabularium, "a list of words"; from Latin
vocabulum, "a word, a name"; from
vocare, "to name, to call".
The term "vocabulary" consists of a list of words, usually defined and alphabetized, as in a dictionary or specialized glossary. It is a complete word stock of a language; sum corpus of words used in a sublanguage or by a group, a class, or an individual. It is also considered to be a scope of diction, a command of words, or a range of expressions.

voluntary
1. Of feelings, etc.; arising or developing in the mind without external constraint; having a purely spontaneous origin or character.
2. Of actions performed or done of ones own free will, impulse, or choice; not constrained, prompted, or suggested by another.
votary
1. A person bound by vows to live a life of religious worship or service; a devout adherent of a cult or religion; a committed worshiper; as "the votaries of Aphrodite".
2. A person who is filled with enthusiasm, as for a pursuit or hobby; an enthusiast.
zonary
1. Relating to or of the nature of a zone; "the zonal frontier".
2. Relating to or having the form of a zone or belt.
3. Placenta with villi arranged in a band or girdle.
