dittogram
A letter or series of letters unintentionally repeated by a scribe in copying.
diverticulogram
A roentgenogram of a diverticulum (a herniation through the muscular wall of a tubular organ; especially, the colon.
duodenogram
A radiograph of the duodenum (the first short section of the small intestine immediately beyond the stomach).
dysgrammataxia
Difficulty in combining into an integrated whole the various symbols comprising a word or phrase.
dysgrammatical
Pertaining to faults of speech arising from a disease.
dysgrammatism
A speech defect involving incorrect phrase construction, leading to infantile speech or a telegraphic style; an aphasic disorder that impairs syntax rather than vocabulary; also agrammatism.
echocardiogram
1. A medical test which uses high-frequency sound waves to image the heart and surrounding tissues.
2. An image of the heart produced by ultrasonography or a test that uses sound waves to create a moving picture of the heart.

The picture is much more detailed than x-ray images and involves no radiation exposure.

echogram
1. A record made by an echo-sounder.
2. A record obtained using high frequency acoustic reflection techniques in any one of the various display modes, especially an echocardiogram.
echosonoencephalogram
A pictorial representation of intracranial structures, obtained by echoencephalography.
electrocardiogram (ECG, EKG)
1. Graphic record of the heart's integrated action currents obtained with the electrocardiograph.
2. A record of the electric currents produced in the body by the heart-beats of a patient.
electrocardiophonogram
The record obtained by electrocardiophonography (a method of electrically recording the heart sounds).
electroencephalogram (EEG)
1. The record obtained by means of the electroencephalograph which presents a record of electric currents generated in the cortex of the active brain.
2. A visual record of the brain that is produced by echoencephalography.
electrogastrogram
A study in which the electrical current generated by the muscles of the stomach are sensed and recorded; therefore, it is similar to an electrocardiogram of the heart.
electrogram
Any record on paper or film made by an electrical event.
electrohysterogram, electrohysterograph
A recording of uterine electrical activities.
