chronography
1. An instrument for graphic measurement and recording brief periods of time.
2. An instrument for recording time with extreme exactness; also, a watch or clock to which various mechanical devices are attached for the same purpose.

It is used in astronomical and other observations, in the timing of races, etc.

chronokymograph
An instrument that records changes in pressure versus time.
chronophotograph
A photograph taken as one of a series for the purpose of showing successive phases of a motion.
chronophotography
An early term for cinematic photography.
chronosphygmograph
An instrument formerly used for study of the rhythms of the pulse.
chronostratigraphy
The study of geologic history based on the age of rock strata and their time sequences.
chrysographer
A written description of colors.
chrysography
1. The art of writing in inks containing gold or silver in suspension.
2. The gold writing produced in this way.
chthonograph
A history or written description of soils.
chthonography
The written history, or description, of soils.
cineangiocardiography
Motion pictures of the passage of a contrast medium through chambers of the heart and great vessels.
cinefluorography
The making of a motion picture record of successive images appearing on a fluoroscopic screen.
cinematograph
1. A machine, combining magic lantern and kinetoscope features, for projecting on a screen a series of pictures, moved rapidly and intermittently before an objective lens, and producing by persistence of vision the illusion of continuous motion.
2. A moving-picture machine; also, any of several other machines or devices producing moving pictorial effects.
cinematographer
Someone responsible for the lighting and camera work for a motion picture and the general look of the motion picture.
cinematographic
Pertaining, or referring, to cinematography (the discipline of making lighting and camera choices when recording photographic images for the cinema).
