nelophobia
An excessive fear of glass.
neopharmaphobia
An exaggerated fear of a new medicine (drugs).
neophobia
1. An intense fear of novelty, new things, change, innovations, or unfamiliar things.
2. An aversion to all that is new; and so, which is unknown or not understood.
nephophobia
An excessive fear of clouds. People who experience this phobia will not look up in the sky at clouds. This fear may be related to other fears concerning weather; such as, impending rain, thunderstorms, or lightning. Some depressions are seasonally related, and for those whose depression occurs during the cloudier months, clouds can be particularly threatening.
noctiphobia
An irrational dread of night and its silence and darkness or of what might happen at night.
nomatophobia, onomatophobia
An excessive fear of names.
nosemaphobia, nosophobia
An exaggerated or excessive fear of contracting a disease or of becoming ill; such as, AIDS.
nosocomephobia
An excessive fear of hospitals.

There are those who fear that they will go into the hospital healthy and then need treatment for an infection contacted while they were there.

nosophobia, nosemaphobia
1. An irrational dread of sickness or of some particular disease.
2. A fear of disease; usually associated with no discoverable organic illness, or if the latter is present, the fear is grossly exaggerated and has been superimposed upon the natural concern about the illness.
nostophobia
An irrational fear of returning to one's home.
novercaphobia
An exaggerated, irrational, or excessive fear or hatred of a stepmother.
nucleomitaphobia, nucleomitophobia
An extreme fear of death by nuclear weapons.
nudiphobia
An abnormal fear of nakedness or nudity.
numerophobia
A fear of numbers or considerable distress when having to use them.
nyctophobia, nyktosophobia
An abnormal fear of darkness or night. Examples of this phobia include not going out at night and making sure that there are plenty of lights on in one’s residence.
