1. Patterned after oneself.
2. The judgment of others by analogy from the knowledge of one's self.
3. An ascription (relating a particular cause) to others of one's own characteristics.

1. Moving by itself; self-propelling or self-propelled.
2. Of or relating to self-propelled vehicles.
3. Relating to motor vehicles; such as, "automotive supplies".

An excessive fear of being dirty and stinking or of personal filth which may result in abnormally frequent washing.

Self induced sleep.
autonephrectomy
The complete destruction of a kidney by a disease process.

A toxin directed against the kidneys of the organism in which it was produced.
autonepiophilia, paraphilic infantilism
A perversion in which sexual arousal and orgasm are dependent on the subject acting as or being treated as an infant.

The subject may need to wear diapers, for example, in order to become sexually aroused.

Functioning independently of the will; not under voluntary control: a reference to that part of the nervous system that regulates the activities of blood vessels, secretory glands, and viscera. It comprises parasympathetic and sympathetic components.

Someone who strives for autonomy or independence.

Relating to or important in the control of the autonomic nervous system.

1. Not controlled by others or by outside forces; independent: "an autonomous judiciary; an autonomous division of a corporate conglomerate".
2. Independent in mind or judgment; self-directed.
3. Independent of the laws of another state or government; self-governing.
4. Of or relating to a self-governing entity: an autonomous legislature.
5. Self-governing with respect to local or internal affairs: an autonomous region of a country.
6. In biology, independent and self-governing to the extent that the organism is able to act on the basis of endogenous forces and not only in response to external influences.
autonomy
1. The condition or quality of being autonomous; independence.
2. A self-government or the right of self-government; self-determination.
3. Self-government with respect to local or internal affairs: granted autonomy to a national minority.
4. A self-governing state, community, or group.
5. The quality or state of being independent, free, and self-directing.
6. Immunity from arbitrary exercise of authority; political independence.
7. Independence from an organism as a whole in the capacity of a part for growth, reactivity, or responsiveness.
autonumerophile, autonumerophilist
A love of collecting car numbers. A collector of car numbers; that is, license-plate numbers.
autonym
1. Literally, one’s own name as opposed to a pseudonym; hence, a book or work published under the author’s real name.
2. The name given to itself by a tribe, social group, or people, as distinguished from a name given by foreign tribes or by anyone else.
3. A word that describes itself; such as, "pronoun is a pronoun", "polysyllabic is polysyllabic", "abbrv. is an abbreviation", "word is a word", etc.
