Voluntary activity or movement.

Visual autokinesis refers to the illusion that an object in space, especially at night, moves as one continues to look at it. An aviator looking at a distant light may perceive that it has moved even though it is stationary.

2. The destruction of cells of the body by the action of their own enzymes.
3, Return of a substance to solution, as of phosphate removed from seawater by plankton and returned when these organisms die and decay.
