(Greek: hate, hater, hatred; disgust for; revulsion of; for example, a man by a woman or women by men; an antonym of "love, fondness for")

1. Originally, a wretched person.
2. A stingy person.
3. From Latin miser, "wretched, miserable, pitiable"; so, this word is not derived from the Greek miso- (hate) element despite the similarity in form.
miserotia, miserotic
A strong aversion to or dislike of sex or matters related to sex.
miserotist
Anyone who has a hatred of or aversion to sex and even the subject of sex (including sexually related jokes, pornography, etc.).
misetes
Hater.

Hateful.
misobasilist
Anyone who hates kings.
misocainia
Hatred or fear of anything new or strange; sometimes expressed as an obsessive desire for preservation of the status quo.
misocapnic
Someone who loathes or hates tobacco smoke.
misocapnist, capnophobiac
1. Any one who has an intense hatred, or fear, of smoking or having anyone around who is polluting the air in the immediate vicinity with tobacco smoke; whether from cigarettes, cigars, pipe, or from any similar process of smoke distribution.
2. A person who fears smoke exhausts from motor vehicles which are blamed for causing so much pollution in the air.

1. A person who hates smoking or the smell of tobacco smoke.
2. A reference to anyone who hates tobacco smoke in any form.

Someone who hates dogs.
misocyny
A hatred for dogs.
misodoctakleidist
Someone who hates practicing the piano.
