Oxygen therapy with pressures greater than one atmosphere or ambient oxygen pressure applied to the entire body in a chamber or room.
hypobaropathy
1. Sickness or disturbances experienced in high altitudes due to reduced air pressure; high-altitude sickness.
2. Produced by reduced barometric pressure; not always distinguished from hypobarism and altitude sickness.
isobar
A line drawn on a weather map that connects places with equal atmospheric pressure over a given period or at a given time.
Isobars are often used collectively to indicate the movement or formation of weather systems.
