A leukocyte containing fat droplets or wax, as in insects.
adipolysis, adipolytic
1. The decomposition, breaking down, or splitting up of fat.
2. Cleavage or hydrolysis of fats during digestion, by fat-splitting enzymes.
adipoma
A benign tumor whose parenchyma is composed of mature adipose tissue cells.
adipomania
An unhealthy process of putting on excessive weight (fat) by excessive eating of fat-producing foods (snacks, fast foods, etc.).
