Forming adverbs corresponding to adjectives in -able.


adorably
1. In an adorable manner; that is, worthy of being adored.
2. Characterized by being extremely charming.
amiably
Friendly and agreeable in disposition; good-natured and likeable.
amicably
comfortably
comparably
In a manner or degree worthy to be compared, or of equal regard.
conceivably
creditably
In a creditable manner; reputably; with credit.
despicably
determinably
durably
Capable of withstanding wear or decay.
formidable
1. Difficult to deal with or to overcome; such as, preparing for war is a formidable task.
2. Inspiring respect or wonder because of size, strength, or ability: "She exhibited a formidable display of skill as she worked with her computer."
3. Causing fear, dread, or alarm.
habitably
incomparably
A reference to being so good or so great that nothing or no one else could achieve the same standard.
justifiably
laudably
Deserving praise.
