vasotomy, vasosection
Incision into or division of the vas deferens.
vasotonia
The tension in the walls of the vessels of the vascular system.
vasotribe
An exceedingly strong forceps in which pressure is applied by means of a screw; the instrument is used to crush tissue containing an artery in order to control hemorrhage from the vessel.
vasotripsy
Use of an angiotribe to stop or decrease hemorrhage.
vasotrophic
Relating to the nutrition of the blood vessels or the lymphatics.
vasotropic
Tending to act on the blood vessels.
vasovasostomy
1. The reversal of a vasectomy, performed by surgical reconnection of the severed ends of the vas deferens.
2. Surgical creation of a passage connecting the ends of a severed vas deferens, usually to restore fertility in a vasectomized man.
vasovesiculitis
1. Inflammation of the vas deferens and seminal vesicles; usually occurring with prostatitis
2. Inflammation of the ductus deferentes, vasa deferentia, (excretory duct of the testis, which unites with the excretory duct of the seminal vesicle to form the ejaculatory duct) and seminal vesicles.
vastonic
1. Referring to vasotonia.
2. Tending to increase vascular tension.
3. An agent that increases vascular tension.
