pseudogestation
pseudogeusesthesia (syoo doh gyoo" es THEE zia)
A false impression or subjective loss of taste.
pseudogeusia (syoo doh GYOO see uh)
A subjective taste sensation not produced by an external stimulus.
pseudogeustic (syoo doh GYOOS tik)
Referring to a subjective taste sensation which is not produced by an external stimulus.
pseudoglobulin
A simple protein insoluble in half-saturated ammonium sulfate or sodium sulfate solutions but soluble in pure water.
pseudoglottic
Referring to the aperture, or opening, between the false vocal cords, or neoglottis, after a surgical operation on the vocal cords.
pseudoglottis
1. The space between the the vestibular folds situated above the rima glottidis (space between the true vocal cords) in the laryngeal cavity (space between the organ at the upper end of the trachea below the root of the tongue).
2. The aperture, or opening, between the false vocal cords; also, neoglottis.
pseudograph
A spurious writing; a literary work purporting to be by another than the real author.
pseudographia
A false writing referring to a literary work which is given to someone who is not the actual author.
pseudographic
Relating to a false writing; a spurious document; a forgery.
pseudography
1. The writing of words falsely, i.e. not according to the sound, or not according to usage.
2. False, incorrect, or bad spelling; an instance of this.
pseudogyne
A parthenogenetic female, particularly in insects.
pseudogynecomastia
Enlargement of the male breast by an excess of adipose tissue without any increase in breast tissue.
