An epic poem; epic poetry.
ethopoeia
1. Moral portraiture.
2. The delineation of character.
ethopoetic
Expressing character.
galactopoiesis
Secretion and continued production of milk by the mammary glands.
galactopoietic
Increasing the flow of milk; milk-producing. A galactopoietic substance.
haemapoietic
Bloodforming; as, the haemapoietic function of the spleen.
haemopoiesis
The formation of blood cells in the living body; especially, in the bone marrow.
haemopoietic
Refers to an agent or process that affects or promotes the formation of blood cells.
hematopoiesis, hemopoiesis
The process of making, or the formation, of blood.

The production of all types of blood cells generated by a remarkable self-regulated system that is responsive to the demands put upon it.

hematopoietic
Relating to, or involved in the formation of blood cells.
hemopoietin
The production of erythrocytes (one of the elements found in peripheral blood); in the fetus and neonate it takes place in the spleen and bone marrow, but in older individuals it is confined to the bone marrow.
henopoeia
A figure of speech by which a number of things are considered as one.
hidropoiesis
The formation of sweat or perspiration.
hidropoietic
Pertaining to, characterized by, or promoting hidropoiesis (causing sweat).
hormopoiesis
The production of hormones; hormonopoietic.
