oligosaprobic, oligosaprobe
1. A reference to polluted habitats having a high oxygen concentration, low levels of dissolved organic matter, and a low level of organic decomposition.
2. That part of a stream that is slightly polluted with organic wastes and contains the mineralized products of self-purification from organic pollution, but with none of the organic pollution remaining.
Oligosaurus
This nomenclature (“small lizard”) is no longer recognized by scientists because they found that it described an animal that was previously given another name which is Mochlodon or Rabdodon. Named by Harry Govier Seeley in 1881.

Deficiency of saliva.
oligospermatic
Characterized by an abnormally low number of sperm in semen.

A reference to an aquatic plant characteristic of water bodies having low nutrient concentrations.
