anterior naris, external naris
Either of the two external openings of the nasal cavities.
nares
1. The external orifices of the nose; also known as, "nostrils".
2. Any of the openings to the nasal cavities that allow air to flow through the cavities to the pharynx.
narial, naric
Pertaining to nostrils.
naricorn
A horny termination of a bird's nostril.
nariform
Like a nostril or nostril-like.
narine: nostrils
1. Of or belonging to the nostrils.
2. Pertaining to, or referring to, nostrils.
naris
One of the two nares, the openings to the nasal cavities that allow air to flow in and out or, more simply, a nostril.

Naris is the Latin singular of nares and is less used in medicine than nares.

posterior nares
The opening between the nasal cavity and the nasopharynx.
