Abnormal softening of a gland.
angiomalacia
Softenng of the blood vessels.
arteriomalacia
Softening of the arteries.
bronchomalacia
Degeneration (softening) of elastic and connective tissue of bronchi and trachea.
cardiomalacia
Softening of the walls of the heart.
cerebromalacia
Abnormal softness of the cerebral parenchyma often due to ischemia or infarction.
chondromalacia
Softening of any cartilage.
craniomalacia
Softening of the bones of the skull.
encephalomalacia
1. Softening of brain tissue, usually caused by vascular insufficiency or degenerative changes.
2. A softness or degeneration of brain tissue, as caused by impairment of the blood supply; softening of the brain.
encephlalomalacia
Abnormal softness of the cerebral parenchyma often due to ischemia or infarction.
esophagomalacia
Softening of the walls of the esophagus.
gastromalacia
Softening of the walls of the stomach.
hepatomalacia
Softening of the liver.
iridomalacia
1. The degenerative softening of the iris.
2. A softening and deterioration of the iris.
keratomalacia
Dryness with ulceration and perforation of the cornea, with absence of inflammatory reactions, occurring in cachectic children; results from severe vitamin A deficiency.
