hypogean
A plant that lives primarily beneath the surface of the ground, or that germinates with the cotyledons remaining in the soil; such as the peanut or oak.
lethargean
malarian
Pertaining to or causing malaria; malarial.
marsupian
meliphagan
A honey eater.
Micronesian
millenarian
1. In the etymological sense, relating or pertaining to a thousand.
2. One who holds or believes that Christ will reign on earth in person for a thousand years; a believer in the millennium.
ophidian
1. Snake like.
2. A snake.
ornithian
phyllophagan
A reference to a group of mammals containing the sloths which thrive primarily on leaves.
picarian
A reference to an extensive division of birds which includes the woodpeckers, toucans, trogons, hornbills, kingfishers, motmots, rollers, and goatsuckers.

Some writers also include the cuckoos, swifts, and humming birds.

Polynesian
1. Someone who comes from an island of the central or southern Pacific.
2. A group of Austronesian languages, including Fijian, Hawaiian, and Maori, spoken on islands of the central and southern Pacific.
Roman
1. A typeface (font) used in ancient Roman inscriptions.
2. A resident of modern Rome.
3. An inhabitant of the ancient Roman Empire.
4. Relating to or characteristic of Rome; especially ancient Rome.
5. Relating to or characteristic of people of Rome.
6. A reference to or supporting Romanism; such as, "The Roman Catholic Church".
7. Relating to, or built in, a style characteristic of the buildings of ancient Rome, especially in having rounded arches, vaults, and domes.
