astrokinetic
A reference to the movement of the stars.
atelokinesia
1. Tremor (an involuntary vibration, as if from illness or fear).
2. Repetitive oscillatory movements, trepidation, shaking.
autokinesis, autokinesia
Voluntary activity or movement.

Visual autokinesis refers to the illusion that an object in space, especially at night, moves as one continues to look at it. An aviator looking at a distant light may perceive that it has moved even though it is stationary.

autokinetic
Of or relating to voluntary activity or movement.
barokinesis, barokinetic
A change of linear or angular velocity (movement) in response to a change in pressure.
biokinetics
1. The study of the growth changes and movements that developing organisms undergo.
2. The science of the movements within developing organisms.
blastokinesis
bradycinesia, bradykinesia, bradykinetic, bradypragia
1. Abnormal slowness of muscular movements, often associated with a diminution of the range of movement, typically seen in parkinsonism.
2. Slow or retarded muscular movement that may be organically or psychically determined. It is common in depressive states and is often observed in schizophrenia.
bradykinesia
Slowed ability to start and to continue movements, and the impaired ability to adjust the body's position.

This can be a symptom of neurological disorders, particularly Parkinson's disease, or a side effect of medications.

bradykinetic
1. Characterized by or performed by slow movement.
2. Denoting a method of showing the details of motor action by motion pictures taken very rapidly and shown very slowly.
bradyteleocinesis, bradyteleokinesia, bradyteleokinesis
1. A dyskinesia in which a movement is slowed or stopped prior to reaching its goal.
2. A disorder of movement, sometimes seen in cerebellar dysfunction, but not pathognomonic, in which a particular movement is arrested suddenly and unexpectedly and then, after a pause, the movement is completed in a slow jerky manner.

cheirokinesthesia, chirokinesthesia
1. A subjective sensation of hand movements.
2. The sense of awareness of movements of the hand, as in writing.
