infundibular
1. Resembling a funnel.
2. Pertaining to an infundibulum.
infundibular canal
A pathway from the mantle cavity through the funnel for water in cephalopods.
infundibular ganglion
A branch of pedal ganglion which supplies the funnel in cephalopods.
infundibulate
Having the form of a funnel; pertaining to an infundibulum.
infundibulectomy
Surgical excision of the infundibulum of any bodily structure or organ; especially, the heart.
infundibuliform
Funnel-shaped.
infundibulin
A 20% solution of an extract of the posterior lobe of the hypophysis cerebri (an unpaired compound gland suspended from the base of the hypothalamus by a short extension of the infundibulum, the infundibular or pituitary stalk).
infundibuloma
A tumor of the infundibulum of the pituitary.
infundibulo-ovarian
Relating to the fimbriatd extremity of a uterine tube and the ovary.
infundibulopelvic
1. Concerning the infundibulum (funnel-shaped or dilated organ) and the pelvis of a bodily organ; especially, the kidney.
2. Relating to any two structures called infundibulum and pelvis: such as, the expanded portion of a calyx and the pelvis of the kidney, or the fimbriated extremity of the uterine tube and the pelvis.

1. A funnel-shaped opening, passage, or structure in vertebrates; such as, the stalk connecting the pituitary gland to the brain or the opening of a fallopian tube into the ovary.
2. A funnel-shaped or dilated organ or part; such as, the infundibulum of the brain, a hollow, conical process, connecting the floor of the third ventricle with the pituitary body; the infundibula of the lungs, the enlarged terminations of the bronchial tubes.
3. The cone like upper anterior angle at the right cardiac ventricle from which the pulmonary artery arises.
